A preliminary objection has been raised by learned Standing Counsel that against the aforesaid orders statutory alternative remedy is available to the petitioner to file appeal before the Commissioner of the Division as provided under section 18 of the Arms Act, 1959. 3. In the facts and circumstances of the case, hence the statutory remedy is available to the petitioner to file an appeal before the appellate authority as stated above, the writ petition is dismissed on the ground of availability of statutory alternative remedy.
