JUSTICE ASHOK S.KINAGI ORAL ORDER The petitioner filed this writ petition seeking for a mandamus directing the respondents - University to consider the representation dated 22.10.2003 vide Annexure-E and representation dated 14.08.2025 vide Annexures-G and G1 respectively, wherein the petitioner has made a request for re-fixing the pension as last salary drawn as a camera person in AVRC as per the UGC norms and settle the pensionary benefits etc. 2. Brief facts leading rise to filing of this writ petition are as follows: It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation. The petitioner was getting a pay scale of ₹2,000-3,200/- on temporary basis, and was entitled to - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:44717 WP No. 28520 of 2025 pay scale of ₹6,500-200-10500/-. Though the pay scale has been extended, the pensionary benefits have not been given to the petitioner. The petitioner submitted a representation for re-fixing the pension as per the last salary drawn as a camera person in AVRC as per the UGC norms. The respondents did not consider the representation vide Annexures E, G and G1. Hence, this writ petition. 3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the respondents. 4. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that if reasonable time is granted, respondent No.2 will consider the representation vide Annexures E, G, and G1 in accordance with law. 5. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the respondents, I proceed to pass the following order: - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:44717 WP No. 28520 of 2025 ORDER i. The writ petition is allowed. ii. Respondent No.2 is directed to consider Annexures E, G and G1 in accordance with law and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law within 8 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
