The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Gumla P.S. Case No. 28 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 21(a), 22(a) and 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge, Gumla. On 15.01.2025, Gumla police apprehended the petitioner and co- accused from the place near Khora Bandh. On search, 14 grams of brown sugar were recovered from their joint possession. It was submitted that quantum of seized contrabands comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. It was further submitted that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Gumla, in connection with Gumla P.S.
