Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record. 3. It is seen from the records that there is dispute between the petitioner and respondents 3 to 8 herein in respect of the subject property. In fact, the respondents 3 to 8 already filed a suit in O.S.No.279 of 2017 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Sriperumpudur, as against the petitioner for declaration and injunction. However, the said suit was dismissed for default. So far, they did not take any steps to restore the same. Even then, they are disturbing the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the subject property of the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the 2nd respondent and the same was closed as the petitioner did not appear for the enquiry. That apart, the petitioner is aged about 80 years. 4. In view of the above, the 2nd respondent is directed to conduct fresh investigation on the complaints submitted by the petitioner, dated 14.11.2024 and 14.03.2025, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and respondents 3 to 8 herein and pass orders to provide adequate police protection in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 3/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.1273 of 2025 5.
