Counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the stand taken by the State that the application has not been filed before the authorities for grant of parole before filing the present writ petition he is not in a position to press the relief for grant of parole.
2. It transpires from the record that the petitioner has filed the present petition on 04.03.2025 and as per the stand taken by the respondents in their reply that till 18.03.2025, no application for parole has been filed by the petitioner. Therefore, 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment?
2 in view of the aforesaid circumstances, no relief can be granted for deciding the application and thus learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the writ petition. Prayer granted.
3. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
