The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 354, 307, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. 3. As per prosecution case, on 29.11.2021, informant was going with his mother for canvassing a Mukhiya candidate for Jethuli Panchayat in the meantime, all the accused persons including this petitioner started misbehaving and abusing with informant. When informant protested, this petitioner along with co-accused Umesh Rai tried to fire from their pistol upon informant but could not fire, thereafter the accused persons assaulted informant and his mother with butt of pistol. 4. Considering the nature of accusation and the fact that Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.82613 of 2024(2) dt.27-01-2025 2/2 petitioner has got 6 criminal antecedents of similar nature, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
