This application under Section 529 BNSS has been filed seeking direction to the court below for expeditious disposal of Case No.1072 of 2024 (Gajala Parveen vs. Mohd. Shahid) under Section 128 Cr.P.C., Police Station Kotwali, District Jaunpur pending in the court of IIIrd Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Jaunpur within a shortest span of time as fixed by this Court. 3. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is the wife of opposite party no.2. She has moved an application under Section 128 Cr.P.C. for maintenance in which the court below has awarded maintenance of Rs.4000/- per month but till date not a single penny has been paid to the applicant. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this application is finally disposed of with a direction to the court concerned to decide the aforesaid Case No.1072 of 2024, expeditiously, preferentially within a period of six months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment.
