JUSTICE M.NAGAPRASANNA ORAL ORDER The petitioner is before this Court, seeking the following prayer: "WHEREFORE, it is respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court be pleased to quash the FIR in Crime No.9/2015 and Charge Sheet dated 22.11.2016 under Section 7, 8 13(1)(d) R/w Section 13(2) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, registered at Karnataka Lokayukta Police, Bengaluru Rural District, and proceedings in Special Case No.225/2016 pending before Hon'ble Court of IX Addl. District and Sessions Judge, Bengaluru Rural District, in the interest of justice." 2. Heard Sri. Sanchan Jainandan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Sri. B.B. Patil, learned counsel - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:25448 CRL.P No. 1675 of 2024 appearing for respondent No.1 and have perused the material on record. 3. The learned counsel appearing for respondent No.1 Sri. B B. Patil would vehemently contend that the charges in the case at hand have already been framed and the trial is on. 4. In the light of the charges being framed, reserving liberty to the petitioner to urge all the contentions before the concerned Court, the petition stands disposed, failing which, the entertainment of the petition will run foul of the judgment of the Apex Court in the case of MINAKSHI BALA V.
