ORAL ORDER
1. Sri. B.C.Seetharama Rao, learned counsel is directed to accept notice for respondent No.3.
2. Notice to respondent Nos.1 and 2 is dispensed with in view of the proposed order to be passed.
3. Petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs;
"a) Issue a writ of mandamus of writ of like nature directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the legal notice dated 13.09.2024 issued by the petitioner addressed to the respondents 1 to 3 herein and disburse the compensation and all other consequential benefits payable to the son of the petitioner namely 'SRI. SUJAY R' in view of his death on 10.09.2023 while in service of the first respondent, value point systems private limited, produced and marked as Annexure 'V' to the writ petition. b) Issue of a writ of certiorari or orders or directions of like, nature quashing the letter/communication dated Nil, issued by the first respondent herein i.e., Value Point Systems Private Limited addressed to the deceased 'Sujay R', the son of the petitioner, produced and marked as Annexure 'U' to the writ petition."

HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:43331 WP No. 2643 of 2025
4. Essentially what has been sought for in the present matter is for disbursement of compensation on account of the death of the son of the petitioner who was insured by respondent Nos.1 and 2. The contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is but only a paltry amount has been paid to the petitioner and the entire amount has not been paid. If that be so, it is for the petitioner to initiate appropriate proceedings against the respondents. A mandamus cannot be issued against private parties in respect of such a relief.
5. Hence reserving liberty to the petitioner to agitate all issues in the appropriately instituted proceedings, the petition stands disposed of.
