The case of the petitioner is that a lease for a period of ten years was executed in her favour by respondent No.5 in respect of Gata No.1790 area 1.352 hectare out of total area of 1.542 hectare. It is stated that for two years, the petitioner carried on fisheries activities over the said land after taking financial help under a government scheme, but now it is being interfered with by the lessor i.e. respondent No.5. The present petition has accordingly been filed for a direction to the State-respondents to decide the representation of the petitioner. 2. As the petitioner is claiming leasehold rights on the basis of a lease executed by private respondent No.5, thus in case there is any interference, the remedy is by way of civil suit and we are of the considered opinion that no purpose would be served in directing the State-respondents to decide the representation in this regard. 3.
