Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Bariyatu P.S. Case No. 07 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 15(c), 17(c), 18(b) and 25 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge, Latehar. On 24.01.2025 at about 12:00 noon, Bariyatu police on the basis of confidential information, destructed poppy cultivation from a place near Domuhan river. It appears that on the basis of information given by the police informer, the petitioner and other co-accused persons have named the accused in the F.I.R. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail but does not dispute the aforesaid facts.
In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Latehar, in connection with Bariyatu P.S. Case No. 07 of
2025.
