Petitioners are before this Court seeking for the following reliefs : a) Issue a writ of in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent authority to consider the representations made by the petitioners dated 17.08.2024 vide Annexures-D and D1 respectively as early as possible in the interest of justice and equity. b) Pass any other order as this Ho’ble Court deems fits on the facts ad circumstances of the case. 3. The petitioners claim to be the absolute owners of the property bearing Plot Nos.1005, 1006 and 1007 situated within the limits of Town Municipal Limits of Kamalapur. The khata of the properties standing in - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC-D:1398 WP No. 107413 of 2024 the name of petitioners and the petitioners have made payment of taxes. The petitioners made representation on 17.08.2024 for issuance of computer record of rights and property register card. The grievance of the petitioners is that their representation has not been considered by the respondent despite long lapse of time. A representation in the form of a letter would not suffice for the purpose of issuance of a computerised record of rights and computerised property register card. In that view of the matter, reserving liberty to the petitioners to file necessary application in the applicable form accompanied by necessary documents, the petition stands disposed of directing the respondent-TMC to consider the said application as and when filed within 30 days from such filing.
