Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that, pursuant to the complaint before the Lokayukta and in consequence of the orders of the Respondent No.5 submitted report dated 20.12.2023 recommending for cancellation of D-Form pattas granted in favour of the ineligible persons, contrary to the Andhra Pradesh Board of Revenue Standing Orders. He further submits that, even though the report was submitted by Respondent No.5 dated 20.12.2023, so far, the competent authority i.e. Respondent Nos.2 & 3 being the competent authorities neither Lokayukta,
4 NV,J W.P.No.4620 of 2025 cancelled the pattas nor issued any other proceedings, rejecting the claim of the petitioner. 3. On the other hand, learned Government Pleader for Revenue furnished written instructions submitted by the District Collector, SPSR Nellore District dated 05.03.2025, wherein it is stated that the Joint Collector has been instructed to initiate action on the report submitted by the Tahsildar^ Varikuntapadu vide Rc.B. 1326/2016 dated 20.12.2023, for cancellation of irregular pattas granted to ineligible persons duly following the provisions of Board of Revenue Standing Orders - 15(18) as the Joint Collector is the competent authority for conduct of enquiry and to pass appropriate orders.
