Ms. Monika Thakur, learned counsel for respondent No. 8 submits that she is under instructions to submit before this Court that substantial progress has been made in formulation of proposal for the construction of a new building of Jammu Wing of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh and that High Court of Jammu and Kashmir is in continuous deliberations with the UT of Jammu and Kashmir as well as UT of Ladakh and, as such, at this stage, once the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh and both the UTs are actively pursuing the matter regarding the construction of new building, no fruitful purpose shall be served by retaining the present petition on board. 2. Taking note of the statement made by learned counsel for respondent No. 8, we do not find any reason to continue with this PIL and, as such, dispose of the same in light of the statement made by learned WP(C) PIL No. 13/2025 2 counsel for the respondent No. 8 and we are sanguine that the deliberations and efforts made by the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh and both the UTs shall yield fruitful results within few months. 3. Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to get it revived in the event efforts made by the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh and both the UTs do not fructify into concrete results. 4.
