The present writ petition has been preferred with the prayer to quash the impugned First Information Report dated 29.04.2025 registered as Case Crime No. 146 of 2025, under Sections- 85, 115(2), 352 of B.N.S and Section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station- Gunnor, District- Sambhal, and for a direction to the respondents not to arrest the petitioners in pursuance of impugned First Information Report. Learned A.G.A informs that charge sheet has been submitted against the petitioners in this case, however, she is not aware as to whether cognizance has been taken thereon or not.
