Mr. Chaudhary Subhash Kumar Srivastava, learned advocate appears on behalf of appellant and upon leave obtained files supplementary affidavit dated 14th May, 2025. He submits with reference to earlier order dated 16th April, 2025, parties jointly petitioned the Family Court for divorce by mutual consent. Said Court by judgment dated 8th May, 2025 dissolved the marriage. In the circumstances, his client who is present in Court, has got the relief. Mr. Kandarp Dwivedi, learned advocate appears on behalf of respondent and confirms that said judgment dissolving the marriage has been passed by the Family Court on joint petition. His client is also present in Court. We have called for the demand draft mentioned in said order dated 16th April, 2025 and directed to have been kept with Registrar General. The draft has been produced in sealed cover. The seal is opened and the draft handed over to Mr. Dwivedi. Both respondent and Mr. Dwivedi put their signatures on copy of the draft to acknowledge receipt, execution, discharge and satisfaction of the direction made in said judgment dated 8th May, 2025, in respect of permanent alimony. A copy of the acknowledgment is kept with the record and another handed over to Mr. Srivastava. The appeal is disposed of. Website copy of this order be communicated to Registrar General.
