The Petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: i) Issue Writ of Mandamus or such other appropriate Writ or Order directing the respondents-police to remove the name of the petitioner i.e., Munianjineya, from the rowdy list/register (Rowdy Sheeter) maintained by the 5th Respondent Police vide at ANNEXURE-“D” in the interest of justice. ii) Issue Writ of Mandamus or such other appropriate Writ or Order directing the respondents-Police not to interfere with the personal life of the petitioner unreasonably more particularly without giving any written notice; iii) Issue any other writ or order or direction that deems fit to grant in the circumstances of the case in the interest of justice. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:50801 WP No. 24998 of 2025 2. The grievance of the Petitioner is that the representation submitted by the Petitioner under Annexure-D to delete the name of the Petitioner from the rowdy sheet maintained by the respondents has not been considered. 3. Learned AGA submits that there is a criminal proceeding which is pending trial against the petitioner. 4. If that be so, no mandamus can be issued by this Court directing the consideration of the said representation. It would be available for the Petitioner to move the appropriate forum for expeditious disposal of the proceedings which are pending. 5. In view of the above, the petition stands disposed.
