Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned AGA for the State and perused the record. 2. Pursuant to the order dated 25.08.2025, the corpus petitioner no. 1 (minor corpus) has been produced before the Court. 3. Upon a query being made by the Court, petitioner no.1 (corpus) has stated that she wishes to reside with petitioner no.2, who is her mother, and has further stated that she has been kept under illegal confinement by respondent nos. 4 to 6. 4. According to the mark sheet of Class- 4th, the date of birth of the corpus is recorded as 11.04.2011 and is, accordingly minor. 5. Considering the statement of the corpus, wherein she has expressed her willingness to reside with petitioner no.2, this Court finds it appropriate, keeping in view her welfare, to direct that the custody of the corpus be handed over to petitioner no.2, Smt. Sangeeta (mother of the corpus). 6. With the aforesaid direction, the petition is disposed of. September 9, 2025 A.
