Heard learned counsel appearing for the parties.
2. In this writ petition, the petitioner is assailing the Termination Notice dated 04.02.2022 (Annexure-E), passed by the respondent-Corporation.
3. Having taken note of the submission made by the
learned counsel appearing for the parties and on careful examination of the impugned Notice at Annexure-E, it would indicate that the petitioner herein has entered into an agreement with the respondent-Corporation for running 'Atithya Midway Plaza'. It is also forthcoming from the impugned Notice that there is an arrear of license fee to be made by the petitioner herein. In that view of the matter, taking into consideration the Termination Notice, it should be

considered as a Showcause Notice to the petitioner herein and the petitioner is permitted to make a reply to the same. Further, it is open for the petitioner to seek an extension of time by way of a fresh offer to the respondent-Corporation in view of continuing its business in the premises.

In that view of the matter, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to approach the respondent- Corporation within one week from the receipt of this order seeking such other reliefs, including the extension of the license period. If such fresh application is made by the petitioner, the respondent-Corporation shall consider the same in accordance with law within an outer limit of one month thereafter.
With these observations, the writ petition stands disposed of.
