This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "Issue a writ petition, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent authority to consider and decide the application of the petitioner under section 67 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, pending before them with regard to removal of the unauthorised encroachment of respondent no.5 to 9 over the Gram Sabha Property recorded as "navin parti" over the khasra no.1431 area 0.0550 hectare situated at village Sisauli, Tehsil-Budhana, District-Muzaffarnagar (as Annexure No.3 to this writ petition)." 2. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that proceedings under Section 67 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 are pending consideration before revenue authority. The sole prayer made in the writ petition is for expeditious disposal of the same. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit or issuing notice to private respondents, with a direction upon the revenue authority to conclude the proceedings under Section 67 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 4. With the aforesaid directions, writ petition stands disposed of. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the matter on merits.
