As per terms of the joint memo, the matter is settled for Rs.5,00,000/- (rupees Five Lakhs only) including the amount of Rs.1,00,000/- (rupees One Lakh only) in deposit, deposited by the petitioner before the trial Court. The petitioner has paid amount of Rs.4,00,000/- (rupees Four Lakhs only) to the respondent. The respondent reports receipt of amount of Rs.4,00,000/- (rupees Four Lakhs only) from the petitioner. 4. In view of settlement, the offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 is compounded. In view of the settlement, the fine of Rs.10,000/- ordered to be defrayed to the State is waived of. 7. The respondent –complainant shall furnish his bank account details to the trial Court so as to enable to transfer the amount directly to his account. 8.
