The petitioners No’s. 1 & 2 are the real brothers of the respondent No. 4 whereas, the petitioners No’s. 3 & 4 are respectively the nephew and niece of respondent No. 4. The proforma respondents are the sisters of respondent No. 4 respectively. 2. Mutation of inheritance bearing No. 795 dated 12.05.2006 of village Sarai Dangerpora, was the subject matter of the revision petition preferred by the respondent No. 4-Mst. Saleema against the petitioners and proforma respondents. The revision petition came to be decided by the learned Financial Commissioner (Rev), J&K on 27th March, 2018. 3. The order dated 27th March, 2018, came to be impugned by the petitioners through the medium of instant writ petition, however, during pendency of the writ petition, parties to the lis have entered into an amicable settlement, regarding which, a deed of settlement/compromise dated 16th November, 2024, stands executed between the petitioners and the private respondents. 4. Pursuant to the order dated 9th May, 2025, statements of the petitioner’s No’s. 1 & 2, contesting respondent No. 4 and proforma Abdul Rashid Ganaie I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document WP(C ) No. 1850/2020 respondent No. 5 & 6 came to be recorded by the learned Registrar (Judicial) of this Court and perusal of the same reveals that the parties have settled their dispute amicably in terms of compromise deed dated 16th November, 2024. In terms of the said compromise deed, the contesting respondent No. 4 who figures at Sr. No. 5 in the settlement/compromise mentioned above has stated that she would take steps for setting aside the order 27th March, 2018, so that the mutation bearing No. 795 dated 12th May, 2006 of village Sarai Dangerpora Tehsil Sumbal, Sonawari, District Bandipora stands intact. 5. In view of the amicable settlement arrived at between the contesting parties with respect to the dispute, the order dated 27th March, 2018, passed by the Financial Commissioner (Rev)-respondent No. 2 herein is set-aside and the writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of as settled.
