Hon'ble Vikram D. Chauhan,J. This writ petition has been filed praying for following reliefs:- i. To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus the respondent no.2 (Additional District Magistrate (Finance & Revenue) Maharajganj/Prescribed Authority (Ceiling) District Maharajganj) to decide the restoration/stay application dated 16.11.2024 of the petitioner, pending before the respondent no.2, within stipulated period fixed by this Hon'ble court. ii. To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent authorities not to make interference in the possession of the petitioners, during the pendency of the restoration application." Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a direction be issued to the respondent no.2 to decide the restoration application dated 16.11.2024 filed by the petitioner within a stipulated period. Learned Standing Counsel submits that the restoration application of the petitioner will be decided in a time bound manner. In view of the aforesaid, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.2 to consider and decide the restoration application dated 16.11.2024 filed by the petitioner as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order. The petitioner would be at liberty to prefer a stay application before the prescribed authority during pendency of the restoration application.
