Notice to respondents No.2 to 5 is dispensed with in view of the proposed order to be passed.. 3. Petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: "i) Issue a Writ in the nature of certiorari quashing of notice issued by the 2nd Respondent dated 10-10-2025 bearing No.GS/SGB-01/2025-26 vide Annexure -D. ii) Issue a Writ in the nature of mandamus directing the 1st Respondent shall consider complaint/representation dated 17-10-2025 vide Annexure-J with immediate effect. iii) Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the 1st Respondent shall supercede Union Bank of India, SC/ST Employees Welfare Association No.38 MIG-2-KHB colony, Hootagalli Mysuru-570017 also at Sri Maramma Temple Seva Trust Building 1st Cross, 13th Main Road, Swimming Pool Road, Saraswathipuram, Kukarahalli Mysuru-570009 as per Annexure-B dated 6- - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:43096 WP No. 32055 of 2025 9-2025 bearing No. ಕಾಂಕ: .ಆ.ಎಂ./ -12 /ಸಂಘ-ಸಂ ೆ/ ಆ-58/2025-26). iv) Issue a Writ in the nature of mandamus directing the 3rd Respondent shall freeze Association SB. Account No.353102010005232 with immediate effect. v) Issue a Writ or order or directions as this Hon'ble court deems fit under the circumstance of the case in the interest of justice and equity." 4. Essentially what has been challenged by the petitioner is the notice which has been issued by the second respondent dated 10.10.2025 calling for the General Body Meeting of the Union Bank of India, SC/ST Employees Welfare Association, Karnataka branch on the ground that a complaint has been submitted as regard to the General Secretary and president allegedly misusing the powers vested with them, that complaint is required to be considered by the Registrar. 5. Merely because a complaint has been filed would not require the General Body Meeting to be stayed by this Court and the notice calling for the General Body Meeting to be quashed or the interim stay by this Court. If at all, - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:43096 WP No. 32055 of 2025 it is for the Registrar to take necessary action under Section 25 of the Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1960. 6.
