Petitioner has been made accused in connection with NDPS Case No. 04 of 2024 arising out of Jaldega (Bansjore O.P) P.S. Case No. 16 of 2024 for the offences registered under sections 20, 22 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I-cum-Special Judge at Simdega. 3. Bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this court vide B.A. No. 6792 of 2024 by order dated 17.10.2024. 4. On 02.04.2024 at 9.30 a.m., Bansjore Police on the basis of confidential information, apprehended the petitioner while he was travelling by a bus bearing registration no. OD 14P 6156 and seized 5.25 kgs. of cannabis from his possession. 5. It was submitted that the seized cannabis comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. 6. Learned A.P.P has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the petitioner is accused in as many as eight cases. 7. Considering the criminal antecedent of the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected. (Ambuj Nath, J) Ranjeet/ Uploaded
