2. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Satbarwa P.S. Case No. 119 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 190, 191, 126, 127, 115, 117, 118, 109(1) of the B.N.S., 2023, later on Section 103(1) of B.N.S., 2023 was also added, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Palamau.
3. On 02.10.2024, at about 08:00 a.m., the accused persons are alleged to have assaulted the parents of the informant, due to which, father of the informant succumbed to his injuries.
4. It was submitted that there is general allegation against the petitioner. It was further submitted that there is specific allegation against co-accused Sakendra Uraon, Ravindra Bhuiyan and Pappu Bhuiyan. It was further submitted that similarly situated co-accused Punita Devi and Ravindra Uraon have been granted bail by this Court earlier.
5. Mr. Saket Kumar, learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail, but does not dispute the aforesaid facts.
6. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Palamau in connection with Satbarwa P.S. Case No. 119 of 2024.
