By means of filing instant writ petition, a challenge has been made to the impugned order dated 04.07.2023 passed by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, granting maintenance to the tune of Rs. 2500/- per month to the respondent under the provisions of Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizen Act, 2007, which has been affirmed by the District Collector, vide judgment dated 03.12.2024. 2. After arguing the writ petition for some time, counsel for petitioner, on instructions from petitioner, does not want to pursue the writ petition on merits and seeks permission to withdraw the same. 3.
