The case of the prosecution is that the victim, Sellamuthu, has been working as a night security guard at Ayyanar Traders Cracker Shop, Vepur. Since the accused, Seran, who was employed at a nearby fish shop, often urinated near the cracker shop, the victim used to question him, which led to frequent quarrels. 3. On 16.07.2025, at about 11.00 p.m., while the victim was on duty, the accused again urinated near the shop. When the victim objected, the accused became enraged, took a fish-cutting knife from the fish shop, stabbed the victim in the stomach, and inflicted further cuts on his back, arm, and waist. On hearing his cries, nearby shop owners saw the accused fleeing. The grievously injured victim was taken to the Government Hospital, Vepur, and later referred to the Government Hospital, Trichy, for treatement. 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Crl.O.P.No.21096 of 2025 4.
