The present writ petition has been filed praying for a writ of mandamus directing respondent no. 5 to decide representation of the petitioner dated 2.5.2025 in respect of payment of rent. 2. The case of the petitioner is that a premises belonging to the petitioner is on rent with respondent no. 5. The Additional Director (Finance) vide communication dated 11.3.2025, addressed to District Project Officer, Gorakhpur, directed for completion of formalities in relation to tenancy @ Rs. 10/- per sq. feet and ensure payment of rent, if not already been paid. 3. The case of the petitioner is that respondent no. 5 has not made the payment despite the aforesaid communication by Additional Director (Finance). 4. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on merits, the petition is disposed of with direction to respondent no. 5 to decide the representation dated 2.5.2025 within four weeks from the date of communication of the instant order.
