CRL OP No. 20963 of 2025 Government Advocate crl. side ORDER This petition has been filed to enlarge the petitioner on bail in the event of arrest in crime No. 171 of 2025 on the file of the Respondent. 2. The case of the prosecution is that the respondent police seized lorry bearing registration No.TN 20 L 4548 with three units of sand. Hence, the case has been registered under Sections 303(2) and 326 (a ) of BNS in crime No. 171 of 2025. 3. Heard both sides. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that investigation is almost completed. Hence, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. 5. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties, (out of which one surety should be blood surety) for a like sum to the satisfaction of the Judicial Magistrate – V, Vellore, and on further conditions that: https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
CRL OP No. 20963 of 2025 (a) the sureties shall affix their photographs and left thumb impression in the surety bond and the Magistrate may obtain a copy of their Aadhar card or Bank pass Book to ensure their identity; (b) the petitioner is directed to deposit a sum of Rs.15,000/- to the credit of the Registered Advocate Clerks Welfare Association, Vellore District within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Further, the petitioner shall report before the respondent police on every Saturday at 10.30 a.m., for a period of three months.
(c)the petitioner shall not tamper with evidence or witness either during investigation or trial; (d)the petitioner shall not abscond either during investigation or trial; (e) on breach of any of the aforesaid conditions, the learned Magistrate/ Trial Court is entitled to take appropriate action against the petitioner in accordance with law as if the conditions have been imposed and the petitioner released on bail by the learned Magistrate/Trial Court himself as laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in P.K.Shaji Vs.
