Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for respondents. 2. The instant petition has been filed with the prayer to quash the impugned order, dated 03.07.2025, passed by respondent no. 3- Zila Basic Shiksha Adhikari, Mau, so far as it directs the Finance and Accounts Officer, Basic Shiksha, Mau, to stop payment of salaries of the petitioners. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners were appointed on 01.07.2016 and after their joining they have been working till date. However, by the order impugned, for no reason, the salary of the petitioners have been stopped and an inquiry has been contemplated, regarding the allegations that the appointment of the petitioners is not legal and approval for the same has not been granted. 4. On the basis of instructions, learned Standing Counsel submits that the salary has already been released in favour of the petitioners, he, however, further submits that the petitioners may be directed to cooperate in the said inquiry, which shall be concluded at the earliest. 5. In view of the above, this petition is disposed of with a direction that the inquiry, as contemplated in the impugned order, shall be concluded within a period of three months from today, in accordance with law.
