1. Heard Sri. H. Manjunath, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri. K. Thejas for Sri. Somanatha H.,
learned counsel for the respondent.
2. An affidavit came to be filed by the petitioner stating that she is retired from the service and is residing in Yelahanka and respondent being the Police Constable working in Chintamani Town Police Station. Therefore

HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:40065 CP No. 298 of 2025 there is a threat to her life in visiting the Chikkaballapura Court for attending the pending matrimonial case in MC No.104/2022.
3. Counsel for respondent submits that no such threat is there from the respondent.

Nevertheless, taking note of the fact that petitioner being the lady and respondent is working as a Police Constable in Chintamani Town Police Station, necessary police protection if directed to be accorded to the petitioner, the matter can be disposed off before the Court at Chikkaballapura having regard to the huge pendency of cases in Family Court at Bangalore and decision in the matrimonial case would be delayed.
5. Moreover, petitioner can also avail video conferencing facility to participate in the pending proceedings.

6. Accordingly, following order:
ORDER i. The Civil Petition Stand disposed off. ii. Petitioner is at liberty to seek necessary police protection by filing necessary application before the jurisdictional Court. iii. If any such application is filed, learned Jurisdictional Judge who is seized off MC No.104/2022 shall accord necessary police help. iv. If petitioner - wife seeks permission to participate in the pending proceedings through video conference, same shall be allowed as per Video Conferencing Rules.
