No. 1041 of 2025 __________ Page2 of 4 ORDER This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction directing the 1st respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner seeking police protection while surveying the petitioner’s land and to fence the property. 2.The petitioner owned property in Old Survey No.847A/5 and New Survey No.847A/5A to an extent of 0-04.5 hectare situated at Kannandaalli Village, Bargur Taluk, Krishnagiri District. He purchased the said property by a registered Sale Deed vide Doc. No.1501 of 2021 dated 22.04.2021. Thereafter, all the revenue records were mutated in the name of the petitioner and patta had also been issued to the petitioner in Patta No.3784. 3.While being so, in order to fence the property, the petitioner submitted an application to the Revenue Department for surveying the property. However, when the surveyor came to survey the land, the respondents 2 to 4 who are being the neighbours, obstructed the surveyor from surveying the petitioner’s property. Therefore, the petitioner lodged a complaint seeking police protection. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP Crl. No. 1041 of 2025 __________ Page3 of 4 4.In view of the above, if the surveyor finds any objection while surveying the petitioner’s land, the surveyor can very well seek for police protection from the 1st respondent. On such request, the 1st respondent is directed to conduct enquiry after issuance of notice to the petitioner and the respondent 2 to 4 and pass orders to provide police protection to the surveyor while surveying the petitioner’s land, with in a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
