JUSTICE ASHOK S.KINAGI ORAL ORDER The petitioner filed this writ petition seeking a mandamus directing respondent No.2 to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Associate Professor as per representations vide Annexures-L and M. 2. Brief facts leading rise to the filing of this petition are as follows: 2.1. The petitioner is working as Assistant Professor in respondent No.2-Institute and he is required to be granted promotion as Associate Professor. He submitted representations vide Annexures-L and M to respondent No.2 to consider his case, however, respondent No.2 has not passed any orders on the said representations. Learned counsel for respondent No.2 submits that, if reasonable time is granted, respondent No.2 will consider the representations vide Annexures-L and M, and would pass the appropriate orders in accordance with law. 4. In view of the submission made by learned counsel for respondent No.2, I proceed to pass the following: ORDER i. The writ petition is disposed of; ii. Respondent No.2 is directed to consider the representations vide Annexures-L and M, and pass the appropriate orders in accordance with law, within 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order; iii.
