Munir, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. R R Kaushik, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam. 2. This is an application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 praying for grant of pre-arrest bail in respect of GR Case No. 349/2019 arising out of North Lakhimpur PS Case No. 119/2019 pending in the court of the learned Judicial Page No.# 2/2 Magistrate 1st Class, Lakhimpur, North Lakhimpur. 3. In this case police filed a charge sheet under Sections 420/366 of the Indian Penal Code against the present petitioner. In the charge-sheet, the petitioner has been shown as absconder. 4. I have gone through the FIR. I have also considered the submissions made by the learned counsel of both sides. 5. This Court is of the opinion that at this stage, the petitioner does not deserve to be detained in custody. Therefore, his bail application is allowed. 6. It is hereby directed that the petitioner Ajibur Rahman @ Ajibul Hussain shall appear before the court of the learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Lakhimpur, North Lakhimpur, on 05.03.2025 in respect of GR Case No. 349/2019 arising out of North Lakhimpur PS Case No. 119/2019. 7. On his appearance, the petitioner Ajibur Rahman @ Ajibul Hussain shall be released on bail of ₹20,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the arresting authority.
