The present petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayer: “It is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to quash first information report (F.I.R.) 281/2024, registered for commission of offence U/s 318(4), 319(2), 351(3), 3(5) of Bharatiya Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 in Police Station Torwa, Bilaspur, District Bilaspur, (C.G.) and if any other consequential proceedings arises then that too may be quashed, in the interest of justice.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present FIR is to be quashed on the ground that the petitioner and respondent No.2 have amicably settled their dispute and the compromise agreement has been filed as Annexure A/2 alongwith this petition. 4. Learned counsel appearing for respondent No.2 submits that he has earlier sought time to file power on behalf of respondent No.2, but he could not file the same due to unavoidable circumstances. 5. Since there is no submission on behalf of respondent No.2 that the parties have entered into an amicable settlement, we deem it 3 appropriate to direct the parties to appear before the Investigating Officer concerned who shall verify the compromise agreement and file a Final Report under Section 193(3) of the Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 before the competent Court within a period of four weeks from today, in accordance with law. 6.
