The petitioner has been made accused in connection with ATS P.S. Case No. 01 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 308(3)/308 (4) of the B.N.S, 2023, pending in the Court of learned A.J.C.-XVIII-cum-Special Judge, ATS, Ranchi.
On 28.11.2024, rangdari was demanded from the informant by one Deepak Singh.
It was submitted that petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. It was further submitted that name of the petitioner has transpired in confession of co-accused.
Learned Spl.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that petitioner has given confidential information about the informant to the main accused persons and he was captured in the CCTV camera footage scrolling near the house of the informant. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned A.J.C.-XVIII-cum-Special Judge, ATS, Ranchi, in connection with ATS P.S. Case No. 01 of 2025.
