Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Keredari P.S. Case No. 203 of 2024 for the offences registered under sections 308 (3), 308(4), 329(4), 351(3), 352 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the court of Mr. Vivek Kumar, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Hazaribag. 3. On 03.12.2024 at about 3.35 p.m., rangdari was demanded from the Informant by the mobile phone bearing 7017297868. During the course of investigation, police called the accused on WhatsApp and asked him to collect levy. When the petitioner came to collect levy, he was apprehended. 4. Criminal antecedent report of the petitioner earlier called for, has been received. It appears that the petitioner is accused in other cases of serious nature. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is in custody for one year. 6. Considering the criminal antecedent of the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected, at this stage.
