The petitioner seeks directions for expeditious disposal of the proceedings of Case No.157 of 2024, pending before the Vice Chairman, District Development Authority, Rudrapur, District Udham Singh Nagar. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made a complaint with regard to unauthorized constructions being raised by the respondent. But, since filing of the complaint, the respondent has not proceeded further in the matter. Although, the complaint has been filed on 07.08.2024, as stated by learned counsel for the petitioner. But the order-sheet of the case reveals that substantially the matter has not proceeded thereafter. Such matter gains urgency because what is stated is that it is a case of unauthorized construction. Such matters should be decided expeditiously. This Court has no doubt that the respondent authority shall take note of this fact and shall make all endeavour to decide the case, as expeditiously as possible. With this observation, the petition stands disposed of.
