ORDER 02.06.2025 Through the medium of the present contempt petition, the petitioners are seeking implementation of Order dated 21.10.2019 passed by this Court whereby the respondents were directed to accord consideration to the claim of the petitioners and pass appropriate orders in light of the Government Order No. 940 Edu of 2017 dated 17.11.2017, read with SRO 339 dated 20.12.2005, provided the claim of the petitioners is covered by the aforesaid Government Order and SRO. The Compliance Report stands filed on behalf of the respondents. As per the said Compliance Report, the claim of the petitioners was considered in light of the judgement passed by the Writ Court and same was found to be devoid of any merit. In this regard, respondents have issued Consideration Order No. 393- JK (Edu) of 2023, dated 05.12.2023. In view of the fact that the respondents have considered the claim of the petitioner and found it to be devoid of any merit, the order of the Writ Court stands complied with. Therefore, the respondents cannot be proceeded against. Accordingly, the contempt proceedings are closed and the contempt petition is disposed of, leaving it open to the petitioners to challenge the consideration order passed by the respondents by way of an appropriate proceedings.
