Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Murhu P.S. Case No.45/2021, corresponding N.D.P.S. Case No. 23/2021(A), registered under Sections 18/25 N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned District & Additional Sessions Judge-III, Khunti.
On 24.03.2021, Murhu police on the basis of confidential information intercepted a red color Alto Maruti Car, bearing registration No. JH-02-AK-4097, from a place near Neel factory more and on search 30.440 kgs of Doda was recovered from the said vehicle.
It was submitted that the petitioner was neither apprehended at the spot nor anything was recovered from his possession. It was further submitted that the name of the petitioner has transpired in the confession of co-accused. It was finally submitted that several similarly situated co-accused persons have also been granted bail by different coordinate benches of this Court.
Regard being had to the facts and circumstance of the case, the petitioner named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of
learned District & Additional Sessions Judge-III, Khunti in connection with Murhu P.S. Case No.45/2021, corresponding N.D.P.S. Case No. 23/2021(A).
