JUSTICE SATYAVRAT VERMA ORAL ORDER 2 18-01-2025 1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State. 2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Kuchaikote P.S. Case No. 278 of 2021, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 20(b)(ii)(C), 23, 25 & 29 of N.D.P.S. Act. 3. This is the fourth attempt of the petitioner to seek bail. 4. The Court, in the nature of allegation, is not inclined to release the petitioner on bail as allegation is of recovery of 160 kg of ganja from a vehicle and the petitioner was apprehended from the spot. 5. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that charges against the petitioner have been framed on Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.77586 of 2024(2) dt.18-01-2025 2/2 18-4-2024. 6. Accordingly, the bail application is rejected. 7. However, the learned trial court is directed to expedite that trial and conclude the same preferably within a period of 15 months, if possible, as the petitioner is in custody since 4-7-2021.
