The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent no.2 to decide the representation/application dated 13th May, 2025 for issuance of character certificate. 3. Counsel for the petitioner submits that there is only one criminal case pending against the petitioner being Case Crime No. 0208 of 2019, under Sections 406 and 420 I.P.C, in which charge-sheet is submitted. The aforesaid proceedings have been challenged before this Court in Application U/s 528 B.N.S.S. No. 11845 of 2025 (Umesh Yadav vs. State of U.P. and another) wherein further proceedings of the case have been stayed vide order dated 10th April, 2025. 4. Counsel for the petitioner has urged that apart from the aforesaid case the petitioner has no other criminal history and there be direction to the respondent authorities for issuance of character certificate. 5. Application filed by the petitioner for issuance of character certificate is stated to be pending. The petitioner may submit a fresh representation before the concerned authority in regard to the status of the pending criminal case, and any other material that he may seek to rely upon for consideration of his application. Petitioner would have liberty to do so within a period of two weeks from date. The respondent no.2 is directed to accord consideration to the application submitted by the petitioner earlier and also the other material which may be placed by the petitioner in support of his application, and pass an order thereon within a period of four weeks thereafter. 6.
