O.P.(MD) No.18106 of 2025 ORDER The present criminal original petition has been filed by A1 and A2 in Spl.SC.No.93 of 2022, on the file of the Special Court for POCSO Act, Nagercoil, Kanniyakumari District, seeking to quash the charge sheet, wherein they are charged with the offences under Sections 9(l), 9(n) and 10 of the Protection of Child from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and Section 75 of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children Act, 2015) 2. A perusal of the charge sheet reveals that the petitioners are said to have sexually abused the victim girl and it is further alleged that the victim girl had made an attempt to commit suicide. 3. A perusal of the charge sheet reveals that there is a specific overt act alleged as against the petitioners herein. In such circumstances, this Court is not inclined to quash the charge sheet. The trial Court is directed to complete the trial on or before 31.12.2026. 6. With the above observations and directions, the criminal original petition stands disposed of.
