The grievance of the petitioner is that despite a compromise decree being drawn at the hands of the learned Principal Civil Judge, Junior Division, Bangalore Rural District in O.S.No.396/2019, where the present Kathedar Sri.Ramaiah was defendant No.1 and in terms of - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:34757 WP No. 26715 of 2025 the compromise decree, the petitioner herein, who was the plaintiff in the suit, is the absolute owner of the entire extent of 2 acres of land in Survey No.38/79 of Vadarapalya Village, Uttarahalli Hobli, Bangalore South Taluk, and the defendants, including the present Kathedar, Ramaiah, have given up their claim in respect of the said lands, the Tahsildar has not entered the name of the petitioner in the revenue records. 3. 3. The writ petition stands disposed of, with a specific direction to 3rd respondent-Tahsildar, Bangalore South Taluk, to issue notice to the present Kathedar and thereafter proceed to enter the name of the petitioner in terms of the compromise decree passed by the competent Civil Court, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:34757 WP No. 26715 of 2025 Learned Additional Government Advocate is permitted to file memo of appearance within a period of four weeks form today.
