This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer: "(a). issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent no.2 to decide the Revision No.1604 of 2019 (Computerize Case No.T201914000001604 (Arun Kumar Singh Vs. Pyarelal) Under Section 219 of L.R. Act within stipulated period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court." It is contended that Revision No.1604 of 2019 (Computerize Case No.T201914000001604) is pending consideration before respondent no.2.. The sole prayer made in the writ petition is to expeditiously decide the said revision. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending or issuing notice to the private respondent, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit, with a direction upon respondent no.2- Commissioner, Varanasi Region, Varanasi to decide revision which is registered as Revision No.1604 of 2019 (Computerize Case No.T201914000001604) filed under Section 219 of U.P. Land Revenue Act, 1901, in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. With the aforesaid direction, present writ petition stands disposed of. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the case on merit.
