This petition has been filed seeking extension of time by a further period of four weeks to enable the petitioner to file an appeal before the Government under Section 114 of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Act. However, the learned counsel states that the said order was uploaded only on 29.01.2026 and thereafter the petitioner fell ill and could not give necessary instructions or in a position to file an appeal. 3. Heard the learned counsel for the respondents also. 4. In order to balance both sides, we would direct the appeal to be filed on or before 24.07.2026 and if filed, the issue of limitation may not be put against the petitioner herein.
