This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "A. A writ order or direction in the nature of certiorari for quashing the impugned order dated 13.12.2024 passed by respondent no.2 under section 116 U.P Revenue Code 2006." Petitioner contends that proceedings under Section 116 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 are pending consideration. A direction was issued for preparing the preliminary decree, against which, the private respondent had filed restoration application in which an order has been passed for maintaining the status quo. Petitioner is aggrieved by the said order. As restoration application is still pending consideration, no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending or issuing notice to the private respondents, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit, requiring the revenue authorities to proceed with the restoration application and decide the same, in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of one month from the date of production of certified copy of this order. With the aforesaid direction, present writ petition stands disposed of. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the case on merit.
