Goyal (A.C.S.C.), Rameshwar Prasad Shukla Hon'ble Arun Bhansali, Chief Justice Hon'ble Kshitij Shailendra, J. 1. This petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed by the petitioner seeking direction to the authorities to conclude the enquiry within stipulated period and take necessary action regarding embezzlement or misappropriation of government funds against the then Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Adhikari and Secretary (respondent nos. 10, 11 and 12). 2. A perusal of the petition indicates that relief has been sought for enquiry pertaining to period 2005-2010 and 2015 till date. 3. Filing of the petitions seeking purported enquiry with the allegations of embezzlement and misappropriation for a period of 20 years, essentially is in the nature of a fishing enquiry and intention apparently appears to be to seek some directions against the Pradhan of the Gram Panchayat on account of impending elections. 4.
