The present writ petition under Article 227 of Constitution of India has been preferred with a prayer to issue a direction to the Principal Judge Family Court, Aligarh to decide the Maintenance Case No. 79 of 2023, arising out of an application under Section 125 of Cr.P.C. within stipulated period. Considering the fact that the case has remained pending since 2023, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is finally disposed of with a direction to the court below to decide the aforesaid case in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months after production of certified copy of the order, without granting any unnecessary or long adjournments to either of the parties, if there is no other legal impediment.
